SUPPORT YOUR LOCALS T.O. started with a simple belief: a city’s greatest strength has always been its people.
Every neighbourhood has independent businesses that quietly become part of our daily lives. The café that knows your order. The family-run restaurant you’ve been visiting for years. The record shop where you discover something new. The barber who remembers your name. The artist at a local market. The florist, the mechanic, the bookstore, the corner shop.
These are more than businesses.
They’re part of the rhythm of the city.
I created SUPPORT YOUR LOCALS T.O. because I believe Toronto is at its best when we invest in one another. Independent businesses don’t just provide products and services — they create opportunities, build relationships, support local families, and give every neighbourhood its own identity.
Without them, every street begins to feel the same.
Toronto has given me more than I could ever repay. It challenged me, shaped me, introduced me to incredible people, and taught me that community can be found in the places you least expect it. SUPPORT YOUR LOCALS T.O. is my way of giving something meaningful back to the city that helped build me.
This movement isn’t about telling people where they should shop.
It’s about reminding people that every decision we make helps shape the city we leave behind.
