The LOT T.O. Residency Program is not an artist grant. It is not a fellowship. It is not a mentorship program.

It is a structured sovereignty framework — a formal process through which creators, researchers, builders, and cultural workers enter the LOT T.O. institution, produce work under full protection, and leave a permanent record in the archive.

WHO THE RESIDENCY IS FOR

The Residency Program is open to:

  • Artists — visual, sonic, spatial, and temporal practitioners working at the intersection of culture and community
  • Researchers — academics, independent scholars, and community researchers working in wellness, ecology, cultural studies, and governance
  • Builders — architects, engineers, technologists, and systems designers contributing to the physical and digital infrastructure of LOT T.O.
  • Cultural Workers — organizers, archivists, lineage mappers, and community stewards who sustain and transmit culture across generations
  • Culinary Innovators — chefs, food researchers, and cannabis culinary practitioners advancing the field through the Cannabis Culinary Arts Lab
  • Skate Wellness Practitioners — coaches, researchers, and movement practitioners contributing to the Skate Wellness Lab research framework

THE RESIDENCY FRAMEWORK

PHASE 01 — ONBOARDING

Every resident enters through a structured onboarding process that establishes their lineage record, sovereignty protections, and institutional relationship. Onboarding is a ritual — a formal acknowledgement that the creator and the institution are entering into a relationship of mutual respect and shared purpose.

PHASE 02 — PRODUCTION

Residents produce work within Portal Annex, the Skate Wellness Lab, the Cannabis Culinary Arts Lab, or across the satellite garden network. All production is supported by the full infrastructure of LOT T.O. — archive access, lineage mapping, sovereignty protection, and ecological resources.

PHASE 03 — ARCHIVE INGESTION

All work produced during residency is ingested into the permanent institutional archive through Cultural OS. Attribution is automatic, permanent, and irrevocable. The resident's contribution to the institution is on the record forever.

PHASE 04 — TRANSMISSION

Residency outputs are transmitted through THE LIVING EYE OF T.O™, THE LOT RECORD™, and the broader LOT T.O. network. Residents become part of the living lineage of the institution — connected to every creator who came before and every creator who will come after.

THE SOVEREIGNTY GUARANTEE

Every resident retains full sovereignty over their work. LOT T.O. does not claim ownership, licensing rights, or revenue share on residency outputs without explicit, documented agreement.

The institution protects. The creator owns. The archive remembers.
