01 — DATA GOVERNANCE

Every piece of data generated at LOT T.O. — session recordings, archive entries, lineage records, research outputs, ecological measurements — is governed by a strict data sovereignty framework. Data belongs to its creators. Data is not sold, licensed, or extracted without explicit creator consent and attribution.

02 — LINEAGE PROTECTION

Cultural lineage is the most valuable and most vulnerable asset a creator possesses. The Sovereignty Engine protects lineage at the point of creation — encoding origin, attribution, and cultural context into every output produced at LOT T.O. Lineage cannot be erased. It can only be extended.

03 — CREATOR SOVEREIGNTY

Every creator who passes through LOT T.O. retains full sovereignty over their work. The institution does not claim ownership, licensing rights, or revenue share on creative outputs without explicit agreement. Creator sovereignty is the default — not the exception.

04 — NEIGHBOURHOOD ATTRIBUTION

Toronto's culture is neighbourhood culture. The Sovereignty Engine encodes neighbourhood attribution into every cultural output — ensuring that the communities that generated the culture receive recognition, credit, and where possible, economic return. The neighbourhood is always in the record.
