A New Era of Evidence-Based Cannabis Research

LAST OF TRUE TORONTO, LTD.™ has launched the Cannabis & Accessibility Research Initiative under the Toronto Disability Innovation Hub.

This program explores how cannabis-based therapies and medical-device technologies can improve quality of life for individuals managing chronic conditions and environmental sensitivities.

Building on founder Shell’s experience in cannabis research and medical-device testing, the initiative collaborates with licensed producers and accessory manufacturers to study product usability, accessibility, and therapeutic outcomes.

We invite licensed producers, device makers, and research partners to join as Innovation Supporters by contributing products, devices, or expertise to the program.

Participants will be recognized in institutional materials and research publications, helping advance inclusive cannabis innovation across North America.

Medical-Device Usability Evaluating dispensers and vaporizers for accessibility and ergonomic design.
Therapeutic Evidence Studying cannabis-based interventions for pain and environmental sensitivities.
Sensory Data Integration Merging sensory feedback with wearable-data metrics.
Community Research Hub Establishing licensed sensory-testing spaces within Toronto.
Education & Policy Developing training modules for accessibility-compliant cannabis testing.
